Sydney Sweeney dazzles in Mônot at People’s Choice Awards

Sydney Sweeney arrived boldly at the People’s Choice Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday. The “Madame Web” actress adorned herself in a plunging Mônot dress, showcasing one of the most fashionable colors of the season: RED.

Sweeney maintained a minimalist appearance, accessorizing with understated white gold and diamond jewelry from De Beers. Her attire was curated by her enduring stylist, Molly Dickson, known for her work with celebrities such as Lucy Hale, Ariana Greenblatt, and Lana Del Rey.

Sweeney’s blonde hair was fashioned with curtain bangs, complemented by dark eyeliner and a matte nude lip.

Red shades are set to dominate this year, following the fiery tones showcased on the runways of Valentino, Carolina Herrera, and Emilia Wickstead during the fall 2023 season. Celebrities like Selena Gomez, Florence Pugh, and Kylie Jenner have continued the trend into 2024, donning crimson hues at events such as the Golden Globes and Paris haute couture week.

Sweeney is affiliated with luxury brands such as Armani Beauty, Kérastase, and Laneige skincare. She has also appeared in ad campaigns for Miu Miu and Tory Burch.

Last year, the actress extended her clothing line collaboration with Ford, releasing a second capsule collection inspired by her beloved blue 1965 Mustang, affectionately named “Britney.”

“I’ve always adored Mustangs,” Sydney Sweeney shared with WWD about her vintage car. “Blue is my favorite color, so when I saw its color scheme, I thought it was the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen.”

The People’s Choice Awards, founded in 1975, rely on votes from fans and the public. The 49th edition took place on Feb. 18 at the Barker Hangar in Los Angeles. Hosted by “Barbie” star Simu Liu, the awards encompass various categories across music, television, film, and sports.
