That “some program” turned out to be the wildly popular Wednesday series, which shot to the third-most-watched show in Netflix history. It’s interesting to note that Ellie Alves from Jenna Ortega’s You was one of the few people to live while maintaining a friendship with Joe. Ellie is referenced in the third season of the show and was supposed to return for season four.
Gamble said, “If Ellie’s schedule permits her to visit us again, we have plans for her.” Even though Jenna Ortega is quite busy, it sounds as like she will be welcomed back to the world of You with open arms should her schedule allow it. Unfortunately, Ortega presently has a very busy schedule.
For Wednesday Season 2, which the streaming service has officially accepted, Jenna Ortega will return. Despite the several program cancellations on Netflix lately, they made the wise choice to go with reviving this new Addams Family version. We presume that the series is presently under development.
In addition to continuing her horror adventures, Jenna Ortega is unable to return to You since she is scheduled to reprise her role as Tara Carpenter in Scream VI.
