A few hours ago, the premiere of the film George & Tammy was held in Los Angeles, which was attended by the star of the film, Jessica Chastain. The 45-year-old Oscar-winning actress attended the premiere in a Michael Kors dress worth £7,200.
Josh Brolin and Jessica Chastain were cast as Tammy Wynette and George Jones in a biographical movie, it was revealed in February 2016. In September 2020, it was revealed that the movie would instead be a limited series based on Georgette Jones’ book The Three of Us: Growing Up with Tammy and George. Brolin was no longer a part of the project; he would now serve as an executive producer. All six episodes of the series will be directed by John Hillcoat. Freckle Films, a production firm run by Chastain, will executive produce.
