Angelina Jolie still has a soft spot in her heart for Harry James Thornton.
The 27-year-old Relatively Famous: Ranch Rules star told Entertainment Tonight that his former stepmother still thinks of him every Christmas season, over 20 years after his father Billy Bob Thornton and the 46-year-old actress separated.
“She still sends me Christmas gifts and stuff like that every year,” Harry told the site. “I don’t call her every day, but we do speak every now and again.”
Harry is the son of Pietra Dawn Cherniak, a former Playboy model who was married to Billy Bob from 1993 until 1997. From 2000 until 2003, Jolie was married to Billy Bob.
Prior to their breakup, Harry said that Jolie would routinely come up with creative methods to keep him and his brothers engaged. “She brought us camping every week, and one time she leased an RV and we went on a complete camping vacation,” he told ET, describing the actress as “very cool.”
“She was simply so much fun for us when we were little,” Harry continued. “She was a lot of fun,” says the narrator.
Since 1978, Billy Bob has been married to Connie Angland, his sixth wife. Harry is one of his four children.
Harry can presently be seen on ERelatively !’s Famous: Ranch Rules, which follows the offspring of eight celebrities as they transition from a luxurious lifestyle to a working ranch.
