Fans believe The Weeknd is showcasing his connection with Angelina Jolie throughout numerous tracks on his new album, Dawn FM, in celebrity hookups that don’t involve Kanye West. The album was released on Friday, and the lyrics were instantly scrutinized for any connections to the suspected romance (which has been the subject of speculation since the Weeknd and Angelina’s dinner date last summer).
The Weeknd (actual name Abel Tesfaye) and Angelina Jolie were photographed out together again in September, leading “insiders” to provide some anonymous information regarding their relationship status.
“Both Angie and Abel claim that they are merely friends, but many who know them believe they are having a love relationship. Friends feel things may go romantic,” a source told Us Weekly, adding that Angelina was “clearly warming up to Abel.” He’s been putting on a show and going above and above to please her.”
