Former Hollywood power couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are both set to attend the prestigious Venice International Film Festival, but fans shouldn’t expect to see them walking the red carpet together.
The festival’s artistic director, Alberto Barbera, confirmed that the exes will be arriving at different times to minimize any potential encounters. Jolie will be in attendance on the opening day, Thursday, August 29, and will depart shortly after for the Telluride Film Festival. Pitt, on the other hand, is scheduled to arrive in Venice on Saturday.
The duo’s split has been a highly publicized affair, with ongoing legal battles and accusations of physical assault. While neither Jolie nor Pitt has publicly commented on the details of their divorce, it’s clear that the separation has been a challenging time for both of them and their children.
In addition to their personal lives, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have also been involved in a legal dispute over their shared Château Miraval winery. Recently, Jolie requested that Pitt “end the fighting” over the winery, suggesting that the ongoing legal battle is taking a toll on both parties.
As the Venice International Film Festival continues, all eyes will be on Jolie and Pitt to see how they navigate their public appearances while keeping their distance from one another.
