Anne Hathaway looked stunning at the 2023 Met Gala.
The theme for this year’s Met Gala is “in honor of Karl” as a tribute to the late Karl Lagerfeld, the creative director of Chanel. Anne Hathaway paid homage to Lagerfeld with her outfit choice, a white tweed Versace gown that hugged her figure. The strapless dress featured alluring cutouts on the torso, with one cutout extending into a thigh-high slit. The cutouts were held together with gold safety pins, which is an iconic design element of the Italian fashion house.
In addition to her stunning dress, Anne Hathaway completed her look with matching tweed opera gloves and white platform pumps. She also wore a dazzling diamond choker from Bulgari to add some sparkle to her ensemble.
Over the years, Anne Hathaway has been a frequent attendee of the Met Gala and has graced the famous carpeted steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Her last appearance was in 2018, where she donned a stunning Valentino Couture ball gown in a fiery red color to honor the theme “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination.” The dress had ruffled sleeves, a triangular torso cutout, and a voluminous skirt. She complemented her look with a gold halo crown that emerged from her updo.
