The blockbusters are coming thick and fast now that movie theaters are fully operational and open for business. The family-friendly animated superhero picture DC League of Super-Pets, which will be released in theaters on July 29, 2022, is one example. Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart, who play Krypto the Superdog and Ace the Bathound, will reprise their roles in the film. In the 2017 Jumanji remake Welcome to the Jungle and the 2019 sequel The Next Level, the team truly brought the laughs, and their chemistry is clicking once again in the new League of Super-Pets teaser.
According to Collider, the picture follows a group of animals that, after some of them get abilities, band together on a quest to save Superman, Batman, and other Justice League members who have been abducted. Some of the animal characters have been there since the beginning of DC comics, but this is the first time they’ve all been brought together in their own “Justice League.” To fulfill their task, the various animals will have to learn to work together and embrace their own abilities in true Justice League fashion. John Krasinski (A Quiet Place) will voice Superman alongside Dwayne Johnson’s Krypto. Ace will be played by Kevin Hart, and Batman will be played by Keanu Reeves.
