It’s been a while since we’ve seen Chris Hemsworth in the character of Thor. Three years, to be precise. In the brand-new Thor: Love and Thunder teaser trailer, we get to see the hero return alongside some familiar characters. This trailer is so exciting in the greatest conceivable manner. In the finale of Avengers: Endgame, we last saw the God of Thunder taking off with his new friends in the Guardians of the Galaxy. It looks as if he is being thrown into the crew right away. The latest teaser may be seen below:
In it, Chris Hemsworth as Thor speaks about peace in a very fitting way. It seems as if Thor is tired of fighting, and now wants to go about his life in peace. Another quick image is that of Zeus, and we get a first look at how Russel Crowe will play that god.
The teaser trailer for Thor: Ragnarok drops the hammer, literally on all of us. We also get to see his best friend, Korg, voiced by Taika Waititi. The trailer also gives us a look at the Guardians of the Galaxy, with Star-Lord rolling his eyes at Thor trying to look like a Ravager. Natalie Portman finally gets her chance to shine as the Jane Foster version of Thor.
Marvel’s Thor: Love and Thunder will be blasting its way into theaters on July 8th, and this trailer proves that we can all still be excited about Marvel films. Chris Hemsworth has yet to give up his time as the God of Thunder, and the same goes for Chris Pratt as Star-Lord. While Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. are gone, it seems Hemsworth could be following suit soon, especially if Natalie Portman is set to take over for a bit.
