During the photograph of them replicating the pointing Spidey meme, Andrew Garfield attempted not to gaze at the crotches of his Spider-Man: No Way Home co-star Tom Holland and Tobey Maguire. The former wall-crawlers made a special cameo in the Marvel film, reprising their roles.
The film became the highest-grossing film of 2021 and the sixth-highest of all time, with a whooping $1.8 billion worldwide to date. It was Tom’s third solo film as Spider-Man, and the cameos of the prior Spideys added to the excitement.
Tom Holland, Tobey Maguire, and Andrew Garfield performed a promotional picture shoot after the huge success of Spider-Man: No Way Home. They were the ones who came up with the classic Spidey pointing meme. Now, when discussing about it on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Garfield disclosed a critical element about it, making it NSFW. “Me and Tobey landed on set. They put us in the costumes, and they said, “We’re gonna do the meme really quickly…” , “That was before we shot anything.”
“We were all kind of like thrown onto a set and told to point at each other. I think we got one good shot because the rest of the time, we were just laughing and trying not to stare at each other’s crotches and just comparing bulges,” Andrew Garfield joined to the conversation. The Tick, Tick…Boom! actor recently discussed the pointing meme that he reproduced with Spider-Man: No Way Home co-stars Tom Holland and Tobey Maguire.
The photograph was difficult to do, according to Garfield, since the three actors were constantly giggling. We now understand why this is so. Regardless, the three of them have captured the hearts of admirers all around the world.
A day before its Digital debut, the opening 10 minutes of Spider-Man: No Way Home were leaked online. Marvel fans will soon be able to see Andrew Garfield, Tom Holland, and Tobey Maguire share the screen on April 12th in 4K Ultra HD, Blu Ray, and DVD.
