In a new post, Salma Hayek dazzles in a low-cut gown.

Salma Hayek’s Instagram postings are never disappointing, and her newest throwback Thursday post is no exception. Hayek meticulously curates a yellow-hued collage of clothing and styles she’s worn throughout the years in the post. She captions her post in both English and Spanish, stating that she will be taking us on a journey through time aboard a yellow submarine.

Salma Hayek looks stunning in every color, but yellow appears to be her favorite. A variety of brilliant yellow outfits, a beautifully embroidered sweater, and even some large yellow fins for what appears to be a snorkeling or diving vacation as mentioned in site are included in the slideshow. Hayek is also shown in full makeup and costume for one of her most well-known performances as Frida Kahlo in the 2002 film Frida. She played Frida Kahlo, a famous Mexican painter, with Alfred Molina, who played Kahlo’s husband Diego Rivera, in this biopic. Hayek was even nominated for a Best Actress Oscar for the role. Despite the fact that she did not win the award, the picture won Best Makeup and Best Original Score.

Salma Hayek had a very busy year, aside from maintaining an amusing and dynamic social media presence. In the year 2021, she featured in four different films. The first was Bliss, a romantic thriller starring Owen Wilson that was distributed on Amazon Video. She then played the wife of Samuel L. Jackson’s character in The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard, a sequel to 2017’s The Hitman’s Bodyguard.

But, with Marvel’s Eternals and House of Gucci, Salma Hayek’s two greatest parts in 2021 may have come in the second half of the year. She portrayed Ajak, the captain of the Eternals and a healer for the team, in Eternals. The Eternals are an eternal species entrusted with keeping Earth safe from a race known as the Deviants in the film. As the rest of the Eternals, the film included Gemma Chan, Richard Madden, Angelina Jolie, Kumail Nanjiani, Lia McHugh, Brian Tyree Henry, Lauren Ridloff, Ma Dong-seok, and Barry Keoghan. Chloé Zhao, an Oscar winner, directed the film.

Salma Hayek portrayed Pina Auriemma, a real-life former TV psychic who was accused of murdering Maurizio Gucci, who is depicted by Adam Driver in this film. Pina is Patrizia Reggiani’s close friend and confidante, played by Lady Gaga. Reggiani married into the famous Gucci family, and this biographical film retells the twisting real-life criminal saga. Jeremy Irons, Jared Leto, and Al Pacino also star in House of Gucci. The film was directed by Ridley Scott.

As of now, Salma Hayek does not appear to have any planned projects. However, if 2021 is any indicator, we may expect a lot more from her in 2022. Maybe she’ll take a break and concentrate on Instagram, uploading pleasant vacation photos or creating colorful throwback Thursday collages for her fans. In any case, Hayek is a brilliant performer, and we eagerly anticipate whatever she has planned for 2022 and beyond.
