Last night, the pop superstar Katy Perry celebrated Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’ inauguration by performing her diamond selling and Grammy nominated single “Fireworks.” Her performance was framed by a truly astonishing display of fireworks that surrounded the Washington Monument as Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and their families watched form the great view.
Other performers from the inauguration night included Foo Fighters, Justin Timberlake with Ant Clemons, Bruce Springsteen, John Legend and Demi Lovato. The earlier of the day ceremony also featured performances from Lady Gaga who sang the national anthem of the United States of America, Garth Brooks and Jennifer Lopez. The event of the ceremony also included a virtual parade that featured a one-time reunion performance from the alternative rock band New Radicals, who performed one of their hits “You Get What You Give.”
Following her Celebrate America performance, Katy Perry’s “Firework” re-entered the Top 10 charts on US iTunes Top songs at No. 9. Justin Timberlake and Ant Clemons’ “Better Days” has also seen huge success on charts as the song hit No. 1 on US iTunes Top songs chart.
